Melissa Harris - Chief Learning Officer
Melissa Harris is a 23+ year veteran of the learning and training business having served in key learning roles at AT&T Wireless and Verizon/Contel and developed and deployed dozens of specialized training programs for sales, customer service and management. Melissa has extensive experience in sales training, technical product training, user training, contact center, and management training.
Her training seminars have been used by firms including: AT&T, Sprint/Nextel U.S.Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Nortel Networks, XO Communications, and NEC. Melissa has also developed a wide array of educational material for American Express, Gannett, Dial America, MCK, SITEL, and WEST.
At AT&T Wireless she was the General Manager of National Training.. In this role she was responsible for the design and delivery of training for all distribution channels including direct, major, agent, retail, telemarketing and national retailers. Prior to AT&T Melissa was Manager of Corporate Training for Verizon where she provided training to 25 divisions. Melissa’s experience also includes roles as Regional Marketing Director and Senior Sales Manager for BellSouth Mobility, and Major Account Executive for AT&T.
Melissa is a nationally recognized speaker; she is a technical writer and a sales, sales management and presentation coach. She is also a certified to teach national training programs by several national training companies. Melissa holds a BBA from Middle Tennessee State University/David Lipscomb University and an MBA degree from Mercer University
